Chitose - Chiropractic Assistant - Esprit Wellness New York

Chitose is Dr. Sid’s Chiropractic Assistant. She welcomes you with a smile and by name. Chitose generates a fun, caring, close-knit community among the Esprit staff and patients alike. As a native Japanese speaker, Chitose works closely with Dr. Sid in facilitating no-barrier communication and a comfortable exchange between Dr. Sid and our Japanese patients. Chitose also assists in the application of certain therapeutic modalities under Dr. Sid’s supervision.

Prior to joining the Esprit Wellness team, Chitose was an Athletic Training Student at Southern Illinois University. In this capacity she maintained health records, worked as first responder, assisted in rehabilitation, applied various therapeutic modalities and stretched athletes. Prior to that, Chitose interned at Memorial Hospital ’s rehabilitation facility in Carbondale , Illinois , where she designed home exercises and learned techniques to measure recovery.Chitose has over 1,200 hours of clinical experience in college athletics including working with NCAA-IAA football, basketball, track and field, and volleyball athletes. Chitose holds a B.S. degree in Physical Education / Athletic Training from the Southern Illinois University.
