Esprit Wellness features acupressure chairs, designed and developed in Japan, that use state-of-the-art technology to apply the principles of shiatsu massage.

Our massage chairs are INADA Chair i.1 models, made by Inada Family Inc., based in Japan. These chairs were featured as one of Time Magazine’s Inventions of the Year 2001.

Using infrared technology, the massage chair detects “tsubo”pressure points which are used in shiatsu massage and then uses an advanced “Ultra-Slow”mechanism which mimics human massage pressure and movements through kneading, tapping, and rhythmic pressure. In addition to allowing several positions from upright to horizontal, the chairs also provide leg and seat massage in addition to back, shoulder and neck massage.
